San Jose Sharks -230
Colorado Avalanche +220
Over/Under: 5.5

The struggle of the Sharks is continued on Tuesday night in Denver. They have now lost three games consecutively and five of their last six. Sharks head coach Todd McLellan was disappointed with his offense on the road trip as they were shut out in St. Louis and managed just two goals in Chicago on Sunday night. This team was a well known offensive team for years but on this year, they have only struggled to score 75 goals, good for just 22nd in the National Hockey League. They are 14th in goals per game average but even that is considered to be low for the Sharks. They should be putting up goals every night. Against the Colorado Avalanche the other night the Sharks recovered from a late goal in the first period by scoring twice in the second period to take a 2-1 lead.
amie McGinn's seventh of the year and Dan Boyle's second were good enough to hold the lead until the 6:11 mark of the third when the Avalanche tied it.
After just about five minutes later the Sharks found themselves trailing by a goal and it was Patrick Marleau’s 11th goal for the season that tied the Sharks with only 22 seconds remaining on the clock. The game would go to a shootout and in the fifth round it was none-other-than Gabriel Landeskog that recorded the winner. Landeskog has had a solid season considering he’s a rookie for the Avalnache, posting five goals and eight assists for 13 points to go along with a +5 rating.
It’s not so bad considering he’s on a team that has only three players with a plus/minus rating over zero. Landeskog's 81 hits also lead the team. On Tuesday night the Avalanche got goals from Stefan Elliot, Daniel Winnik, and Matt Duchene. It was a power play goal for Duchene, his 11th of the season.

The Sharks and the Avalanche have split the first two games of the season series. Colorado is 17-35 their last 52 road games versus a team with a winning record at home. The Sharks are 27-9 their last 36 Thursday games. The Under is 10-2 the last 12 meetings in San Jose. The favorite is 7-2 the last nine.

_Between a battle of sea creatures or aerial creatures, which one would you choose? It seems to be quite a difficult choice but if we try to analyze their strength and weaknesses then we will have no problem dealing with difficult choices. Free hockey picks like this one will help you make the right choice when it comes to your bets.

The San Jose Sharks lost to a 1-0 against the St. Louis Blues on Saturday. It seems that they are already treading on rough seawaters since they have to be ready for a very different style of game in the second leg against the Chicago Blackhawks. On Sunday, they’ll have to get ready for a high-scoring contest as the Chicago Blackhawks and their slew of weapons lead the Western Conference with 96 goals scored.

The Sharks may be on a whirlpool as of the moment.

Sunday December 11th
NHL Odds: Blackhawks -130

Shark Attack:
The Sharks may take the victory in this battle because there are several reasons why they have to do something different. The Blackhawks has issues with the goaltender controversy to fill their hands. It roots from the fact that Corey Crawford has been struggling mightily over the last couple of weeks and backup Ray Emery has outplayed him. Crawford has allowed 17 goals in his last five starts while posting a GAA of 4.08 in that span. And it’s not as if he’s faced thousands of shots either since he has only stopped 116 of 133 shots in five games which gives it an equivalent percentage of 0.872. If there’s anything than can boost the Shark’s offense then it’s none other than a struggling goalie.

Blackhawks Up:
The Blackhawks has a smooth road to victory since the Sharks are almost drowning in funk. Back in November 23rd the Sharks won 1-0 and that was the last time they met. Since that time, the Sharks have just two wins in their last seven. Even though they topped Dallas 5-2 earlier this week, they are in a scoring slump as they have just eight goals in their other six games. Martin Havlat has just four assists in his last 14 games while Patrick Marleau has just one goal in his last six games.

Also the Blackhawks are rested as opposed to the restless Sharks who have back to back games on the road. The Blackhawks are in fact the highest scoring team in the Western Conference and they might not have to work so hard to get back at the drowning Sharks.

_For 25 points Brad Richard is chained for the team and we have the Washington Capitals going against the Winnipeg Jets. Let’s see which one is really going for the puck in this game.

Capitals VS Jets (+105, 5.5)
It seems that the Jets is becoming one helluva home team in front of their crazed fans at the MTS Centre.
They have made a huge improvement on their home record to 10-4 on the year with an impressive 2-1 win over the league-leading Minnesota Wild. Bryan Little scored his 11th goal of the season with about five minutes left in the third to put the game away for good.

"It proves to teams that we're up there and we can play with the best teams in the league, especially in our arena," Bryan Little told reporters. "We wanted to make this a tough arena to come play in. To beat those teams in our building is huge for our confidence."

Winnipeg ended it around -110 for their win over the Minnesota Wild, however if you were early at this line then you would see an even better price with the overvalued Capitals coming to town.
The Jets will definitely be dashing for the fans in this game.

New York Rangers VS St. Louis Blues (-135, 5)
The Rangers is a team where you don’t usually see them pegged as underdogs, only four times over the last 18 games and that’s backed up by good reasons.

They are in fact a team with a strong defensive system and Brad Richards has been everything this team has needed and more after a bit of sluggish start.
"I have to admit that even though I wanted to come here, it was a hell of a transition, especially since I'm not the kind of person who is the best at adapting to change," Richards told reporters about his move from Dallas. "Mentally, it took its toll on me, and I wasn't as sharp as I wanted to be or needed to be, but thankfully I got great support from my teammates and we were winning. I'm starting to feel it come now. I feel comfortable being here and living here. The best is ahead of me."

That’s a really thrilling prospect for the Rangers supporters considering he’s already tied for the team lead with 25 points. New York struggled to get much going in a 1-0 home loss to Dallas on Tuesday, but this team bounces back well.

_Here we are again to another free hockey picks that will definitely help you out on your games and where to lay down your money.

The game between the Dallas Stars and New York Rangers
7:00 PM Eastern Time
Pick: 2 units on Game Total OVER 5 -135 (risk 2 to win 1.5)

Though the Dallas Stars had come out of the gate with some shine, posting an 11-3 mark and their first 15 games saw them allow just 36 goals or 2.4 per contest, their winning has been slowed to a snail’s pace as over their last 13 games they have allowed 42 goals or 3.3 per contest. That is one goal per game increase, so playing to a low total certainly has value here on the up side.

The Rangers on the other hand will surely take advantage of that as they have been on a scoring spree, posting 35 goals in their last nine games at just short of 4 per contest. Dallas has lost that consistent edge in the net and after a win they have only played two of their last eight to the UNDER. The Rangers are now 10-4-1 to the OVER at home in their last 15 as well as 8-1 to the OVER in their last nine on a single day of rest. Take the OVER in this one.

The game between the Carolina Hurricanes and Toronto Maple Leafs
Pick: 3 units on Carolina +155 (moneyline) (risk 3 to win 4.7)

Of late, the Hurricanes aren’t giving the same gush of wind as they have but a single win to show for their last nine games. The good news is that it did come on this road trip, as they handled Edmonton 5-3. We also have a dormant offense is coming to life as they have scored 13 goals in their last three games, and own a win this season vs. this Toronto team in the only other time they have met.

The Maple Leafs aren’t really the most confident team even if posted as a big favorite in this game as they had their own problems recently, especially the 19 goals allowed over their last five games. Toronto is just 1-4 in those five games, dropping four straight in the role of a favorite. The Hurricanes have played greatly here as they are 5-1 in their last six trips across the border to Toronto. Play on Carolina here.
